Tour de Nippon in Nagoya

We are now taking sign ups at [email protected] for Papersky’s Tour de Nippon in Nagoya. The event will take place on 3/26 (Saturday) and 3/27 (Sunday). Papersky’s Tour de Nippon project is about finding the magic of Japan’s rural districts, their inhabitants, nature, culture and food. Each ride travel to various prefectures to ride bicycles, eat local food and meet the ‘real’ people of the areas. This upcoming ride will take us to Nagoya and we’ll be riding through the areas of Nagakute, Toyota, Seto and Inuyama. Riders will have an opportunity to eat many local Nagoya delights over the two day ride as well as indulge in a healthy macrobiotic meal towards the end of our ride. Other highlights will include a overnight stay in Seto an area well known for it’s pottery and riders will have a chance to create a diffuser using the techniques and materials of Seto potters. When we arrive in Inuyama we will be greeted by one of the last remaining princes in Japan as she will personally take us around Inuyama Castle one of Japan’s most prized and oldest castles.

*The cost of the Papersky Tour de Nippon does NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION (Flights, Cars, Trains, Ferries) from the participants house to the starting point and from the finish point back to the participants house. All transportation must be self-booked.
